Beaded Butterfly Workshop - Part 2

  • The Co-Lab at South Orange 57 South Orange Avenue South Orange Village, NJ, 07079 United States (map)

Join Sandra Charlap for a SZA-inspired two-part micro mosaic butterfly workshop, where we’ll dive into the world of beadwork, color, and creative expression.

You’ll use glass seed beads, rhinestone chain, and specialty materials to create a one-of-a-kind butterfly that will be displayed like a scientific specimen in a beautiful 6x6” hand-decorated frame. All materials are provided in a curated kit, and Sandra will guide you step-by-step through the entire process.

Cost: $150 per person (Includes: 1 kit per person, 1 6x6” frame, a variety of leathers to choose as a backing and the use of acrylic paint pens for decorating frame.)

During the first class, Sandra will provide demonstrations and hands in instruction in designing and creating a stunning butterfly using glass seed beads, rhinestone chain and a variety of unique beads to create a one of a kind piece of art.

The second class will be a continuation of the first workshop but will focus on finishing details, choosing a backing, and decorating the frame. Sandra will assist in the display and finishing of the project.

Please note: this is not a ring-making class—you’ll be creating a framed flat butterfly, not jewelry!

There are limited spots available, so RSVP soon by calling 973-307-0344.
