The Co-Lab in South Orange, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting small businesses, recently opened its doors. The grand opening ceremony, led by Mayor Sheena Collum, highlighted the potential positive impact on the local economy. Currently hosting six unique enterprises, the Co-Lab offers an eclectic mix of products, from artisanal cheeses to handmade items and gourmet cereal treats.

South Orange, NJ — The Co-Lab at South Orange, a dynamic retail incubator and collaborative workspace for local entrepreneurs, is thrilled to welcome Nicole Kleinbaum as its new Manager. Nicole’s appointment marks a significant milestone for The Co-Lab at South Orange as it continues its mission to empower small businesses and enhance community engagement in downtown South Orange.

The Co-Lab at South Orange, a 501(3)c nonprofit, invites the public to their official Grand opening celebration on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Located in Downtown South Orange, The Co-Lab is a space where people can shop small. It’s a non-profit organization that serves as a space where small businesses can begin to launch brick-and-mortar locations. When visitors walk in they will see pop-up shops on the right side that change every weekend. On the left side are more permanent stores that have leased a space in the building. Some of these include Grā, Daily Greatness, Noble Hungers, Cereal Dreams, and Soma Wheelhouse. The Co-Lab is open from Thursday through Sunday.
